Re-opening Wednesday May 19th

We’re very excited that were re-opening on Wednesday May 19th
Please be patient as we open up our reservation availability which will increase as new staff join our team.
We really look forward to seeing you as soon as possible.

Closed until further notice

The Sassi team are very disappointed to announce that due to major unforeseen building issues, we will not be reopening this week as planned.
We will aim to keep updating this information as events unfold but at this stage we are unsure what date we will reopen.
With sincere apologies to all our valued customers and thank you for your understanding.

Sassi will be open Wednesday – Sunday for lunch and dinner (closed Monday & Tuesday).
We will offer one sitting to allow our diners time to relax and unwind over a good meal without feeling rushed on their first taste of dining out freedom after lockdown.
Lunch 12 – 3pm.
The restaurant will close at 3pm on the dot for cleaning. Therefore no lunch bookings will be taken after 1.30pm.
Dinner 6 – 9pm.
The restaurant will close at 9.30 sharp for cleaning. No bookings after 7.45pm.
Takeaway available.
Whilst the bar remains closed takeaway will be available – including pizza and our famous barramundi fish and chips!
This arrangement will be subject to review as we go and conditions hopefully change.
Looking forward to serving you some of your Sassi favourites!

We can’t wait to open our doors again to all our friends, customers and their families with renewed Italian spirit and hospitality.

It’s been a difficult time for everyone during the Covid 19 Lockdown but every cloud has a silver lining and it’s given us a chance to reflect on what counts in life and to value even more the importance of good company, good food and conviviality in a social setting.

In order not to lose all the gains made during these months of sacrifice, we’ll be strictly following all government guidelines and health requirements. So no more warm Italian hugs and kisses for the foreseeable future but the smiles will be there to welcome you back on June 12.

At this stage bookings are also essential. You can book through our website or go to the NowBookit website. Numbers are strictly limited so get in quick.

Also for the time being, to enable you to make the most of available seating, we’ll have the one menu for lunch and dinner so you can have any of your favourites and more variety at lunch.

Whoever thought going out to eat would seem as much fun as it does now!
